Privacy Policy

This policy explains how SquadSphere collects, uses, stores, and protects information when players and captains use the app for team management, chat, match planning, fee follow-up, notifications, and live match features.

What we collect

We collect the information you add to your account, such as name, email, phone number, city, role, playing profile, profile photo, team details, and account preferences.

When you use the product, we also store team membership, join requests, match schedules, availability replies, chat messages, polls, vacancy applications, payment reminders, QR payment media, and device or push subscription data needed to deliver alerts.

Login and verification

You can access SquadSphere using email-based flows, password-based login, OTP verification, or Google sign-in where available.

If you continue with Google, we may receive basic account details such as your name, email address, and Google account identifier needed to authenticate and secure your account.

Why we use this information

Create and manage player and captain accounts
Run team chat, direct chat, match planning, polls, scoring, streaming, and vacancy workflows
Send reminders, fee follow-up alerts, push notifications, and operational updates
Improve reliability, moderation, fraud detection, and customer support

Sharing and service providers

Your information is shared inside SquadSphere only where it is needed for team coordination. Captains can see the players in their team, availability status, fee progress, and other details required to run a match.

We may use service providers to help us authenticate users, host data, store media, and deliver email or push notifications. This can include cloud storage, Google sign-in, email delivery, and OneSignal push delivery. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

Contacts, location, media, and messages

If a captain imports contacts, SquadSphere uses that data to check whether selected phone numbers already belong to users on the platform and to support team invite workflows.

We use city and location details to help show relevant teams, vacancies, and nearby activity more accurately.

Profile photos, team logos, payment QR images, shared team QR cards, and messages are stored so relevant participants can view the information they need to coordinate clearly.

If you use live match or streaming features, SquadSphere may process stream-related metadata, scorer actions, and match state updates linked to that match.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, SquadSphere stores the push subscription identifiers needed to send alerts about matches, reminders, chat activity, vacancies, fees, and related team updates.

You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time, but some time-sensitive alerts may then be missed.

Photos and file uploads

Images you upload, such as profile photos, team logos, payment QR codes, and related media, may be stored in secured cloud storage and delivered using time-limited access links.

We may reject files that are too large, unsupported, unsafe, or not suitable for the product.

Retention and security

We keep account and operational data for as long as it is required for product use, support, safety, legal compliance, or legitimate fraud and audit purposes.

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, but no online platform can guarantee absolute security.
